This Customer Privacy Policy (the "Policy") of DW/E (the "Company") covers the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information that may be collected by the Company when users interact with the Company, such as when visiting the website, purchasing the Company's products and services online or in a retail store or office, or calling the Company's sales and/or support associates. Please take a moment to carefully read the following to learn more about the Company's information practices, including what information is gathered, how and for what purposes the information is used, to whom the information is disclosed, and how the Company safeguards personal information. Protecting the privacy of personal information is a priority for the Company.

1. Collection of Personal Information

The Company may collect personal information in order to provide effective customer service. This information enables the Company to give convenient access to its products and services and to direct customers to the categories of greatest interest to them.

Personal information is information that is personally identifiable, including but not limited to a person's name, address, email address, credit card information, and/or phone number. The Company may collect and use personal information in order to establish a customer's account, complete purchases, or other billing tasks, and understand a customer's specific needs. In addition, personal information helps the Company to share pertinent information on its latest product announcements, special offers, and/or events that the customer would find interesting.

The Company may use cookies and other technologies to enhance the online experience of its customers by learning about how the customer uses the Company's website and services. A "cookie" is a small file containing a string of characters that uniquely identifies a browser. While most browsers accept cookies by default, a browser can be manually set to refuse all cookies, accept cookies from specific websites, or highlight when a cookie is sent to the browser. The Company's servers may also automatically record information when a customer visits our website, such as the URL that directed the customer to the Company's website, the IP address, browser type, and date and time of the visit.

2. How the Company Uses Personal Information

During certain interactions with the Company, the Company may collect personal information relevant or necessary to the interaction, such as the customer's name, mailing address, phone number, email address, and contact preferences, as well as credit card information and information about the Company products that a customer has purchased, such as product code numbers and the date of purchase, and information relating to a customer's interactions with the Company's support and/or service associates.

We also collect information for market research purposes—such as a customer's occupation and use of the Company's products—to gain a better understanding of the Company's customers in order to provide increased value and better customer experience. This information may be aggregated with other customers' information on a purely non-identifiable basis to understand how the Company's products are used and to improve these products, as needed.

The Company collects information regarding customer activities on its websites. This helps the Company to determine how best to provide useful information to customers and to understand which parts of the websites, products, and Internet services are most interesting to users.

The Company may use personal information to provide products that customers have requested as well as for auditing, research, and analysis purposes. This information may be shared with third parties or in special circumstances as described elsewhere in this policy.

Credit card information is used solely for payment processing and fraud prevention efforts. Credit card information, and other sensitive personal information required to process a credit decision, is not used for any other purposes by the Company or its financial services providers, and will not be retained any longer than necessary to accomplish the customer's requested transaction unless the customer requests and expressly authorizes the Company to retain credit card information for ease of future purchases.

3. Customer Account Creation and Related Information

The Company's websites allow customers to create user accounts based on their personal information. This convenient service saves customers time and allows for easier use of the Company's web services. In order to create a user account, the customer will need to create an account profile by providing their name, phone number, email address, and in some cases their mailing address and/or a credit card number. The system saves the information in the customer's personal profile when the customer creates this user account and when the customer performs various activities on the Company's website, such as purchasing products and services from the Company.

4. Publicly Displayed Information is Public

If a customer uses a bulletin board or chat room on the Company's website, they should be aware that any information that is shared is visible to other users. Any personally identifiable information that is submitted in any of these forums can be read, collected, or used by other individuals. The Company is not responsible for any personally identifiable information that a customer chooses to submit in these public forums.

5. Sites Covered by This Privacy Policy

The DW/E website (DizzyWithExcitement.com) may from time-to-time link to third-party websites for the customer's convenience and to provide easy access to additional useful information. Should a customer select such a link, they will leave the DW/E website. The Company does not control any third-party websites to which the Company's website(s) may link nor these third-party websites' privacy practices and policies, which may differ from the Company's privacy practices and policies. Any personal data that a customer chooses to provide or that is collected by such third parties is not in any way covered by the DW/E Privacy Policy. The Company recommends that customers read the privacy policies of all third-party websites prior to providing any personal information. A link to a third-party website from DW/E does not constitute an endorsement or representation about the value, quality, or usefulness of anything found on that third-party website.

6. Policy on Sharing Personal Information

The Company takes its customers' privacy seriously and does not sell or rent the contact information of its customers to other marketers.

To help the Company provide the best customer experience possible, a customer's personal information may be shared with legal entities within the Company's corporate group and such entities will be required to safeguard all personal information in accordance with the Company's privacy policy.

There are also times when it may be advantageous for the Company to make certain personal information about customers available to companies that the Company has a strategic partnership with or that perform work for the Company to provide products and services to the Company on its behalf. These companies may help the Company process information and orders, fulfill customer orders, deliver products, manage customer data, provide customer service, assess interest in the Company's products and services, or conduct customer research or satisfaction surveys. In such situations, these companies are prohibited from using customers' personal information for any unauthorized purposes and are also obligated to protect customers' information in accordance with the Company's policies, except if the Company expressly informs customers otherwise at the time of collection. Without such information being made available, it would be difficult for customers to purchase products, have products delivered, receive customer service, provide feedback to improve the Company's products and services, or access certain services, offers, and content on the Company's website.

The Company may take the personal information we receive from individuals responding to customer surveys and combine (or aggregate) it with the responses of other customers we may have, to create broader, generic responses to the survey questions (such as gender, age, residence, hobbies, education, employment, industry sector, or other demographic information). The Company then uses aggregated information to improve the quality of its services to you and to develop new services and products. This aggregated non-personally identifying information may be shared with third parties.

We also reserve the right to disclose personal information for any reason if, in the Company's sole discretion, it believes that it is reasonable to do so, including credit agencies, collection agencies, merchant database agencies, law enforcement, litigation or to satisfy laws, such as the Electronic Communications Privacy Act, the Child Online Privacy Act, regulations, or governmental or legal requests for such information. The Company may also disclose personal information that is necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who may be violating the Company's contracts, policies and procedures. Finally, the Company may also disclose information about customers if it determines that for national security, law enforcement, or other issues of public importance, disclosure is necessary.

7. Keeping Customers' Personal Information Secure

DW/E values its customers' trust and takes this trust seriously. The Company takes precautions—including administrative, technical, and physical measures—to safeguard personal information against loss, theft, and misuse, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.

Customers can assist the Company in these efforts by also taking precautions to protect their personal data when on the Internet. Changing passwords often, using a combination of letters and numbers, and making sure to use a secure web browser are a few ways to keep personal information safe and secure.

While the Company makes every effort to ensure the integrity and security of its network and systems, the Company cannot guarantee that its security measures will prevent third-party "hackers" from illegally obtaining personal information.

8. Integrity of Personal Information

The Company strives to keep personal information accurate and up-to-date. Towards this goal, the Company utilizes various technology, management processes, and policies. As part of its overall data accuracy initiative, the Company provides customers with reasonable access to their personal information so they may review and correct the information if needed. To safeguard privacy and security, the Company will verify a customer's identity through various means, such as by requiring a user ID and password, before granting access to personal information or data. The Company asks that customers update their information as and when it changes so any information used to serve them remains as accurate as possible.

Customers always have the right to access and correct the personal information they have provided and can help the Company ensure that their contact information and preferences are accurate, complete, and up to date by checking at login. The Company does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 for marketing purposes, but because some information is collected electronically, it can appear to be the personal information of the purchaser of the Company's product and will be treated as such by this privacy policy. If a child under 13 submits personal information to the Company and the Company learns that this information is the information of a child under 13, the Company will attempt to delete the information as soon as possible. It is the Company's policy to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 and all other applicable laws.
